CRX 2000: Turbocharged & Rear Wheel Drive

,

The digital dash is fully functioning, there are still a few more connections to complete before all of the gauges in the centre console are operating, but the original CRX Si clock keeps accurate time! The Autometer shift light is front and centre. Before you start questioning the speed we were going on public roads, that's 80 kph indicated which is the equivalent of 50 mph. It's the speed limit!
This gives you a good view of the front suspension. The lower control arm has been dropped to allow for better handling. Lots of adjustability and spherical joints. The Ground Control coilovers are using 300 lb springs.
This bolt-in tube provides strength in the front. It's surprising how much room is available under the hood. Some of the space in this photo will be taken up by the Peterson Dry Sump pump.
225/45/15 Hankook RS3 tires are mounted on 949 Racing 6UL 15×9 wheels. Brakes are from a Honda Accord wagon, 11.1″ rotors with Hawk HP Plus pads. The rear are Nissan 240SX calipers and rotors, again with HP Plus pads.
Aaron is thinking about whether or not he should take me for a ride in his car! The Kognition wing is mounted with custom supports. The hatch is fully accessible – as long as you're flexible and have long arms.
