CRX 2000: Turbocharged & Rear Wheel Drive

,

There's a lot of strength and adjustability, however, Aaron has plans to reinforce the wing's mounting ever further. Adding a diffuser and, for practical reasons, a tow hitch.
The livery is so cool that my photographic skills don't do it justice. This wrap by Anything Customs looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. If you call up Vibrant Performance for technical support for your project, you may find yourself talking to Aaron. He knows what he's talking about!
Here's a brief history. Opening up the firewall. The drivetrain is almost as big as the car. If the engine is going to be in and out, why not create bolt up bracing to make the process easier while still providing the strength required? And then cruising down a country road – the dreams have come true.
A bit more history with the insets revealing some of the framework at the rear of the car, the custom end tanks on the intercooler, the transmission sitting inside the car, and then putting in some laps at Toronto Motorsports Park. There is still much more to be done, but the CRX 2000 is one amazing car.

There is still a lot of work to be done over the winter to ensure that the car is ready for the week long Ontario 1500. Improvements in safety in the form of a roll bar, seats, and harness. The gaining of much needed ground clearance with the installation of the dry sump system. Working through a few tuning issues to ensure that the car is running flawlessly. I've been following the build for four or five years. I don't know about you, but I look forward to following it more many more years. Aaron, thank you for sharing your creativity and your car with us.
