Dasilva Motorsports: They Do It All!

This Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible has a 383 Performance crate engine. It received some freshening to ensure that it's classic looks are going to stay that way for a long time. A new rad and a T5 TKO transmission transmits the power to a new 3.73 rear end.

This burgandy Olds looks great indoors. Imagine what it must be like cruising down a twisty road with the beach off in the distance! You can just glimpse a bit of the custom 18″ wheels. 9″ at the back and 8″ front.

This 1974 blue C3 is getting a full interior replacement, including Z06 seats and and air conditioning system from Vintage Air.

Interior is stripped and ready for the next step.

This is not an engine you see every day. This is a Mercury Marine built Corvette engine with dual overhead cams (finally, I get to say cams! You have no idea how many times I've had to go back and remove the s from cams). This engine was fully rebuilt to stock specifications and with OEM parts. Parts which are becoming a challenge to source.

This engine belongs in this 1991 Corvette ZR1 and from the factory put out 451 crank horsepower. Impressive numbers now and very impressive almost a quarter century ago. Along with the rebuild, this car received headers and a custom exhaust back to the stock mufflers. At the Open House I couldn't get good pics of the body, which is clean but doesn't glisten like some others in the shop. Apparently it spends a significant amount of time on the race track.
