You've seen glimpses of it here and there in photos throughout the earlier pages of this article, but as you look down the length of this 1966 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, you're looking a one classic automobile that is in incredible shape. And it's huge! It is a recent arrival and the owner has plans to turn it into a classic cruiser.
I just love the looks of the front end of this car. My dad always wanted a Coupe de Ville – the closest he came was a 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Car. As a 18 year old driving my dad's new Town Car, I found it was not as nimble as my Austin America.
While the Cadillac is in incredible shape, there is a small section of the frame where there are some soft spots that must be addressed before anything else is touched. Then it will get a complete interior rebuild, Coker Whitewall tires, and a full air ride suspension! This will be a brilliant cruising machine.
I don't have an engine shot of this C5. It has a Dasilva custom cam and was tuned by Arun.
Beautiful maroon colour. If you look closely, I'm pretty sure you can spot a hockey puck being put to use on the hoist.
This 2007 C6 Z51 is not the same car as the pic just above. It was also up on the hoist so I wasn't able to see under the hood – maybe I should start taking a step ladder along with me when I go to my next Open House! Custom Asante wheels that are 20″x11″ and 19″x9″. It has a carbon fibre lip, diffuser, and spoiler to flesh out the wide body kit.
Custom exhaust so you can enjoy the thunder. TVS 2300 Supercharger with a cog drive – when you get bored with the exhaust sound a bit of gas and you'll get the most incredible supercharger whine. Did I mention that it also has the custom Dasilva cam! It has a full audio package, but I'm not sure it's necessary with this drivetrain! We cannot see the custom fitted ZR1 hood – with a glass package to view the supercharger.
