These straps hold the shock compressed against the nitrogen gas pressure and make installation easier.
It was a snap to install our new shocks and it only took a few minutes.
The front shocks were also easy to remove and were quite blown.
You can see the mark on the front axle where all of the OEM shock fluid dripped out to.

Those bumpstops looks tasty
Considering they were completly gone! We replaced them with new stock parts as well as some worn out stock bushings.
Looks like a solid vehicle! Is this based off the F250/350 frame I presume?
I really dig these stock wheels that come on the Excursions and F250’s from the same era. Soo cool.
