The next battle was the orange s13 of JR Faber vs the green Corvette of Timothy Wallen. From the start of Faber’s lead run, he was able to pull away from Wallen and create a large gap.
In his lead run, Wallen bogged the start super badly giving Faber the win.
On the other side of the ladder, Brandon Marcus in his white S13 also had a bye run and advanced easily to the Great 8.
Micah Diaz in his BMW e46 took on Joshua Johnson in his BMW 318ti. In his lead run, Micah demolished Johnson by pulling a huge lead from the start. Johnson then spun out trying to catch up.
In Johnson’s lead run he tried hard and was quite smooth for most of the course, but spun out near the end. This caused contact with Diaz and the judges gave Diaz the obvious win.
The next battle pitted the C6 Corvette of Alex Anderson vs Robbie Irving’s F-Body Camaro. With Anderson leading, both drivers had sloppy lines with Irving having poor proximity. Irving was gapped and had less angle throughout during the chase.
