LS Fest West Drift Challenge 2021

When leading, Irving was slower and Anderson was commandingly more aggressive. However, Anderson spun out right at the last corner, giving Irving the win.

The Sorensen-Olin one more time battle was next…and did not disappoint! Sorensen ran away at the start of her lead run, opening up a big gap.  However, she had a poor line in the second turn. Olin was smooth and clean in his lead run with Sorensen being very aggressive and in control in the chase position.

Unfortunately, Sorensen made a big mistake in the last corner resulting in another one more time.

The next battle was an MK3 Supra driven by Timothy Johnson vs Adam Knapik in his red S14.  In his lead run, Knapik was smooth and in control, pulling away from Johnson with ease.

While in the lead, Johnson was much slower than Knapik was in his lead run. Johnson also spun out at end of the first turn, giving Knapik the easy win.

Next up was Blaze Potts in his FC RX-7 vs Zach Wingfield in an E36.  Potts lead first. The pair were evenly matched in speed off the line, but Potts pulled away through the first turn. Both drivers exhibited sloppy lines in their first run.  Wingfield lead next in the E36, Potts close behind with good proximity. Potts seemed to be in control with a close follow but after turn 3 got too aggressive, had to check up, and spun out giving Wingfield the win.
