Now, Howard assembles the Pedders rear shock with the factory upper mount.
The adjuster extension is installed to the Pedders shock's adjuster. You can see how this makes shock adjustment a lot easier.
Now the Pedders coilover is installed in reverse order of how it was removed. The rear suspension was easy to install.
What is interesting is that the SS's Brembo rear caliper is a 4 piston part instead of the usual two piston.
The Pedders rear coilovers are now ready to go.
The final step in our suspension installation was to install these resistor plugs in the MagneRide suspension's vehicle side connectors. This prevents the car's ECU from freaking out.
The Pedders suspension, of course, is not linked to the factory ECU but is user adjustable.
