Project 370Z – Stillen Brake Duct Kit Install and Testing

,

Here you can see the hose routing around the radiator/AC condensor combo, under and over the chassis rail, and through the space opened from removing the small plastic piece from eariler so the hose is in the wheel well.
Stillen supplies enough zip ties to attacth the hose to points in the wheel well to keep it in the correct position and away from the inside front of the wheel during steering articulation.

The hose also get's zip tied to the lower control arm so the rear inside of the wheel doesnt make contact either during steering movement.  In this picture is the hose fully extended, we cut the hose properly so even at full extension it doesnt pull itself off the hub bracket.

Getting the hose length and the lower control arm zip tie location correct is critical to getting the hose to compress in such a manner that it stays within a the wheel barrel and doesnt rub.

Here we see how the hose doesnt make contact with the wheel even at full steering lock in the rear. This was extremely important since we run smaller diameter, and wider wheels then stock in the front(Stock 19×9 vs the Enkei's in 18×10.5 we run).
