Project 5.0 Mustang II- Improving the Suspension with Whiteline and KW

,

To make room for the upper lateral link we had to relocate this wire harness higher to prevent it from rubbing.

The links are bolted in place, one side on the stock panhard rod mounts, the other side to a bracket that bolts in place on the chassis.  The driver’s side chassis bracket is very stiff and has a bar that goes across the car to the link to the stock panhard bar mount on the passenger side.

With the Watts link in place we now bolt up the rear anti sway bar.

You can now see the rocker up close.

Details of the adjustable rear bar are shown here.  You can also see the chassis mount side of the Watts linkage and the now unused axle side panhard rod mount.

The stock third link is lightly constructed from stamped steel.  You can see why they are known to break.
