Project DBA R35 GT-R: Starting the Suspension Revolution with KW Suspension and Forged Performance

,

With the undertray off, it was time to get to work!

With the interior out of the car, the upper shock mounts could be accessed. We wish that Nissan could have just made a removable panel so the shocks could be serviced without having to take every panel in the back of the car out!

With the upper mount unbolted, it just takes removing the lower bolt for the stock shocks to come right out.

The stock Bilstien shock is on the bottom and the KW 3-way Clubsport is on top. The KW shock has a shorter body to allow for some lowering without losing much bump travel.
