Project DBA R35 GT-R: Starting the Suspension Revolution with KW Suspension and Forged Performance

,

Installing the front bar is pretty easy on a GT-R, as the bar is on the bottom of the cross member. Many cars now days require the cross member to be dropped, but not the GT-R!

The endlinks bolted right up. We set the front bar on the softer setting for now.

The stock rear end links are very wimpy and would probably break if used with a much stiffer than stock sway bar. They are smaller in diameter than pencils!

Bolting up the rear swaybar is fairly easy as well. It helps to have a lift, which makes it easier to maneuver the bar in and out.

The rear bar set in the middle position is now ready to go!

Now that we have the basis for our suspension upgrades in place, stay tuned. We have a whole bunch of parts from SPL and Whiteline coming to make our suspension completely adjustable, to get rid of complaint rubber and to make some geometry corrections in the front end.

We can make really good, better!
