The pressure plate is in great shape despite some very minor heat spotting.
Our Centerforce Steel lightweight flywheel was in great shape with no heat spotting at all. Howard removed it in anticipation of the installation of our new aluminum flywheel.
Next, Howard cleaned and degreased the outside of the transmission case.
After removing the transmission case bolts, Howard separated the transmission case halves to expose the innards of the transmission.
It is easy to disassemble the transmission at this point; the shift fork retainers are unbolted.
