Next, the gear stacks are set in place.

The shift fork retainers are bolted down.

Next, Howard applies sealer between the two case halves.

 

The transmission case halves are mated and bolted together. Now the transmission is back together.

The pilot bearing is greased up, reinstalled on the pilot bearing fork, and placed on the input shaft. The tranny is ready to be reinstalled now.

Howard articulates the throwout bearing on its boss to make sure it moves smoothly.
