Project Focus ST – Making Power with Cobb Tuning!

Turbo engines need good breathing to make power.  Cobb Tunings helps out with a large diameter 3″ exhaust 304 stainless system.  The Cobb system has super smooth mandrel bends and nice robotic TIG welds. Twin 3″ center exit tips are polished and since they are 304, will stay shiny with little care. 
The Cobb exhaust is made of high grade 304 stainless with stainless hangers, mufflers and sub mufflers.  A lot of exhaust companies are making exhausts using the lower grade 409 stainless nowadays and it's good to see Cobb sticking with the more expensive but more corrosion resistant 304.  The Cobb exhaust features straight though perforated core mufflers and pre silencers for very low restriction and surprisingly low noise.
Cobb Tuning's downpipe attaches to the turbine housing with a V-Band clamp and is also constructed of TIG welded, mandrel bent, 3″ 304 stainless tubing.  The downpipe comes with a 200 cell high flow cat and provisions for the factory O2 sensors. 
The nice thick, machined flanges will not leak.
The stainless OEM type V-Band flange will not leak and is very high quality.   Look at the quality of the welds around the O2 sensor bung and the high flow cat.
The Cobb Tuning downpipe has an OEM quality multi layer flex pipe to help assure that the exhaust will not crack, even with FWD fore and aft engine movement that tends to stress exhaust systems a lot.
