Project FR-S: Getting More Grip with Whiteline, Cusco, Rays Wheels and Achilles 123S Tires!

,

This is where the Cusco tower brace bolts to in the trunk.  You have to remove the carpet and the trunk mat.

This is the the bar’s orientation compared to the rest of the trunk.  It does not take up too much room inside the trunk.

We cut the carpet and the trunk mat to have a nice neat appearance.  The bar hardly intrudes into the trunk space.

The last rear brace bolts in between the two lower crossmember mounting points.

We did not need to remove the exhaust to install this brace.

The strut tower brace and the firewall braces look and fit really nice.  The strut tower brace easily cleared our Innovate Motorsports Supercharger that we installed later.

  1. I’m curious to hear your logic for going with the 18″ wheels instead of 17″. The 18’s definitely look better but I know looks alone aren’t enough for MotoIQ.
