Where to put things?We also had to figure out where we would actually mount the sensors. The frame rail seemed like a convenient location. We would run a hose from the fuel pressure regulator’s gauge port down to here and run another hose from the oil cooler’s port on attachment to the factory filter point.
We extended each wire of the Haltech sensor pigtail with a proper parallel splice.
Don’t forget the glueline.
And a little twist doesn’t hurt, either.
Shrink tube would’ve been ideal, but the Haltech harness already used the mesh cover. We just stuck with the theme, and used a bit of glueline to make it look nice and keep our mesh attached to theirs.
