Project Nissan 370Z – Keeping it cool with a CSF radiator, HPS Hoses and a Nissan Motorsports Oil Cooler

,

The thickness difference between stock and the CSF becomes more obvious when viewed from the bottom.  The space between the radiator and condenser allows more airflow up from the bottom via convection which boosts both radiator and condenser efficiency.

To get the thicker CSF radiator further back in the car so the brackets would fit, we had to trim the factory plastic fan shroud in a few places.  Fortunately this was super easy with a hacksaw blade and only took a few minutes.

We had to trim a little on the top and bottom.

We also had to cut this notch for the end tank.  Again none of this was that hard and we were able to do it at the track.

Our cutting was nearly invisible.
