In the AWD class, Jacob Ayres in his Subaru Forester(!) took out the win.
A stroked EJ20 with Garret GTX3076 pushing 505hp at 28psi and a JDM STI Spec-C drivetrain proving king against the EV powered Tesla.
In the RWD class, Stephen Adams tough drag V8 VK Commodore took the win over a 2JZ powered Toyota Cressida in a super close battle.
Running a 355ci Holden V8, Come alloy heads and a shot of N2O through a turbo 400 gearbox and 26×9 slicks it certainly got out of the hole nicely.
Racing continued after with Grudge races against each other until the close of the track to end a full first day!

Day 3 arrives to a sunny day, with hopes that the relentless Albany wind will die off for a shake at the Australian 1000m record.
Albany is known as a very windy town, with an electricity generating wind farm out of town proving that it’s a force to be reckoned with.
Some head to head battles were close – making for exciting racing.
