Here we have a Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia driving by Martin Fuentes, a Mercedes Bens AMG SLS GT3 driven by Eric Lux, Henrique Cisneros in his Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia, followed by Andy Pilgrim in the Cadillac ATS-VR GT3.
The #16 Bentley just missed the podium on Saturday; Got there on Sunday!
The Cadillac did not have an easy win, because the Bentley Continental GT3's were right there. In fact, Butch Leitzinger set the fastest lap of the day with a time of 1:17.134 and an average speed around the ten corner, 2.459 mile track of 114.766 mph.
The weight of the race car is nearly half of the weight of a street going Bentley Continental. The looks – Bentley all the way.
This weekend it was Johnny O'Connell in the #3 Cadillac ATS-VR GT3 that was unbeatable. His lap time of 1:17.347 faster than the previous class track record. His weekend was flawless – at least, from my perspective outside of the car.
