Learning the Craft: Grassroots Drifting

The driver of this 350Z continues his run, even after ripping off his front bumper.

Who needs sideskirts to finish their run? Not this guy.

After a quick brush with the wall, Arrunh finishes his run without a taillight, and a little body work needed.

Miek rips his front bumper off after a quick trip through the grass.

But, more often than not, damage is all in a day’s work for drifting. But after the wrecks are cleared and the debris picked up, drifting resumes. By late afternoon, the drivers are in their prime.

Dave carries an awesome drift off turn 4 and transitions through the infield. His 240SX is equipped with Megan coilovers, all aftermarket arms, 300ZX VLSD, a hydro e-brake and a great bash bar.

Mark slays his tires through turns 1 and 2 in his AE86. Mark's AE86 is equipped with Stance coilovers, manual rack conversion, T3 panhard bar, T3 spin turn knob, and a Weir spool.
