Honda was out in force showcasing their engines for many different racing series. Here is the USAC Midget motor which is produced by Honda Performance Development based on the K24 platform. You can see the engine orientation on its axis which is designed to be more vertical as these cars compete and compress around the oval. Also of note is the dry sump tank on the driver's left side. Again this is offset to the inside of the chassis for weight distribution, proper oiling under load, and to afford greater shielding/protection.
Minimum race weight for these machines is 1,050 lbs wet with driver. When you think about what sort of power the K series is capable of producing you realize just how fun these things can be.
Further spec provides for a cast 4 to 1 exhaust manifold and routing. You can also see the dry sump system and make out just how severe of an angle these engines are run at. I'd love to see the dataset for these left hand specials and the R & D that went into making sure these things stay lubricated under those loads.
Another Honda powered platform was this Formula Atlantic Swift 014. Campaigned in both the Atlantic Championship and SCCA club racing Honda produces a 2.0 liter powerplant.
The 2.0 liter F4 is based on a K series and produced specifically by HPD for the series. They offer several different kits to integrate this engine into different chassis. This is a Swift 014 from Swan Racing.
