Carello Group, the US distributor for Sabelt America, is now working with Totim Racing, which has revolutionized the forming foam insert market. The Totim insert comes in various-sized custom kit bags and is way, way easier than existing foam insert systems.
Between sitting, curing, and waiting, making a custom insert takes only about an hour. Their kits come in a wide variety of volumes and sizes to accommodate different needs, whether that is a mild fitment adjustment or a wild and thick insert to accommodate very differently-sized drivers.
Because the system is completely self-contained inside a bag, no special equipment is required for mixing, and no funky, sloppy, or leak-prone garbage bags are required. Because there are no gases escaping, there are no toxic fumes to worry about.
Inside the bag, there is a special treatment to ensure air evacuation and to eliminate pocketing. When it’s all said and done, the final insert can be trimmed just like any other foam insert and then covered in fireproof fabric tape to make it look good. The Totim exterior bag and the foam are covered by several FIA certifications and are legal for any form of motorsport.
That’s a wrap! Are you excited for 2025? I sure am. But I still can’t wait for next PRI.
Except maybe I’m not excited about that whole Indianapolis and snow thing.

I am aroused by the new baby EFR. It will be the PERFECT miata turbo.
I’m annoyed that a compressor muffler is a thing that exists
On behalf of myself and random lurkers who don’t comment, thank you for the great coverage and writing.
I’ve never been to SEMA nor PRI. I just turned 44. I’m missing out. Articles like these do the job filllng in though.
