PRI 2015: Part 6

,

Here’s a shot of BMR Suspension’s chassis and suspension components for the 2015 Ford Mustang, including rear control arm bushings and rear sub frame mounts.

When it comes to high RPM valvetrains, Supertech is one of those brands. In its booth sat this menacing 2.5-liter K24 Honda Integra pumping out a whopping 1200 WHP! That’s 480 WHP/liter, y’all.

The engine uses Supertech sodium-filled exhaust valves, stainless intake valves, valve springs, retainers, and guides. It’s also got Prayoonto Stage 4 cams, Civtory Precision K24 sleeved block, Crower billet crankshaft, GRP forged rods, JE Pistons, and a Cometic head gasket. Power is made through a Comp 7290 turbocharger, and controlled by an AEM EMS.

With just 2.5-liter, the Integra above isn’t going to make 1200 WHP without a lot of RPM. So let’s check out some of Supertech’s valvetrain secrets.

Here are Supertech valvetrain components for the E46 BMW M3, featuring Superclean chrome silicon vanadium steel alloy for high performance durability at high RPM. The CNC retainers are titanium.

Since the factory S54 uses solid lifters, the Supertech units come with a lash cap, also known as a tappet shim.
