PRI 2015: Part 6

,

To control the vehicle’s performance racing in the big time, professional teams frequently use Bosch Motorsport ECUs.  Shown here (left to right) are the MS 6.4 fully programmable ECU, Bosch’s DDU 7 Motorsport display, and the PBX 90 Motorsport Powerbox, which is capable of replacing all conventional relays, fuses and circuit breakers to simplify wiring harnesses and provide diagnostic capabilities.

MoTeC’s booth is not only tuner heaven given its high quality, fully-progammable ECUs, but its electronics are definitely worth a gander too. Check out this display unit integrated into a carbon fiber racing steering wheel, which can show a variety of user-programmable parameters, including vehicle speed, RPM, engine oil pressure, fuel pressure, battery voltage, and lap times, as seen here.

Here are some more examples of MoTeC’s high level digital display units. The one up top is the C1812, whch we’re told will retail for $7,000.
Stilo had an impressive booth last year and it didn’t fail to impress again this year with these impressive helmets. Take a look at these WRC DES helmets with integrated microphone boom……and you can alse get these WRC-style helmets in carbon fiber. The prices start at around two grand and go up from there. Way up.
