Here’s the Supertech setup for another 3.2-liter powered car, the VW VR6. They’re seen here with the black nitride coating, and feature a hardened valve tip and undercut valve stem.
Switching gears to the land of the rising sun, here’s a full valvetrain set for a Supra’s 2JZ-GTE engine…
…while here we see a similar setup for the Nissan GTR’s VR38DETT engine.

Like Ferrea, Supertech is one of those companies I did not know that originated from Argentina. As an Argentinian myself, who’s normally used to seeing big aftermarket automotive names coming from Europe, Asia, or Australia, this was very interesting to me—especially because they’re both in the valvetrain business. However, both companies are based in the U.S.—one on the East Coast, and one on the West Coast.
If there was an award given to the most interesting and creative booth, I would have given it to Maverick Performance, a division of Winters Performance Products which specializes in transmission and driveline components.
Maverick used its actual products to create the booth itself in a very unique way. It was so clean that it was quite easy not to even notice it.
