When put next to our Bav Auto lip, you can see the two weaves match very well to keep a uniform look.

Fortunately, installing the diffuser is rather simple.  You must start by removing the rear bumper lip, which is secured by these plastic rivets.

Once the plastic rivets have all been popped out, the cover should pull right off.  You may have to give it a bit of a tug.  Start with a corner…

…and once it releases there, you should be home free.

Our Magnaflow exhaust from Bimmerworld, which was featured in Part 7, is now in full view.

Unfortunately, the diffuser wasn’t perfectly lining up in some places.  We found that the OEM cover had a little notch in it, so in order to achieve a better fit we replicated a similar notch with a Dremel tool, and it helped tremendously.
