After using the Langka PCR kit for the very first time, I have to admit I never notice the gash anymore. In fact, it’s been months since I performed this procedure, and I forgot I even had that nasty scratch until I started writing this article!
For the smaller chips, Bav Auto sells the Dr. Color Chip road rash kit, which is really easy to use, and is highly recommended.
We started with our front bumper cover, which has seen the most road rash. The first step is to simply rub the supplied matched paint on with your finger…
…and then simply wipe off the excess. And that’s it!

…here is the after, after one pass. With the unnatural light, it’s hard to see the difference, but it’s there. You’ll notice it more in the darker areas, or in the larger chip on the bottom left. In person it’s obvious. The cool thing is you can make another pass. It really made Project E46 M3’s front bumper cover look like new from just 5 feet away.
