The ring gear bolts were removed.
Once the bolts were out the ring gear was tapped off the differential with a soft mallet.
You can see the stock diff is a conventional two pinion differential.  The mountune/Quaiffe diff is considerably different looking and in operation as well!
We pressed our new long awaited bearings onto the mountune diff.
Since the ring gear is such a tight fit onto the body of the differential, we used a heat gun to expand it before installing it on the new diff.
With heating, the ring gear slid right in place.
