The new Spec flywheel was set in place on the crankshaft register.
The flywheel bolts were set in place and torqued in a cross pattern. A small amount of Loctite red was used on the threads. It is important to use the Loctite sparingly as you don’t want it to wick between the flywheel and crank register.
Loctite was applied to the pressure plate bolts as well.
The pressure plate and clutch disc were installed using the included clutch alignment tool.
The pressure plate was torqued down.
Now we were ready to re-install the transmission.
