Project GD Subaru STI Part Two- Performance Suspension, Wheels and Tires

The front bar in place, you can see how short the lever arms are on it. The torsional loads on the center section are pretty directly coupled. This is a very stiff sway bar!
The rear bar is also a stout 27mm.  This is more than 4x the stiffness of the stock rear bar!
The rear bar will destroy the stock rear bar mounts that are stamped of flimsy sheet steel.  Whiteline recommend the use of these heavy duty rear bar mounts made of stiff extruded aluminum when using their Motorsports rear bars.
The stock mounts vs the Motorsports heavy duty mounts.  It is obvious which is much stronger.
We used the good old teflon tape trick here as well.
The Motorsports mount in place.
