The aforementioned curves on the spokes of the SP4 have pretty aggressive angles on them. We look forward to cleaning that tight gap!

A total of 40 bolts hold the 3-piece SSR SP4 together. SSR uses smaller 6mm hardware to keep weight as low as possible.
12 point bolts tighten down each spoked section of the wheel’s diameter while Allen head nuts and bolts go all the way through in the voided parts.
The valve stems included with the SP4 are inserted from the outside of the barrel and tighten down from the inner side.
From the inner side of the wheel you can see how the valve stem is tightened. That bend in the stem is the area we are worried about brake clearance. There appears to be room under the stem to get that tighter in towards the barrel though.
