Old used F1 valves.  I really wanted to see the guts of the latest engines, F1 cars taken apart.  A lot of stuff looked to be 90’s to early 2000’s technology.

 Some of the pistons appeared to be newer designs.

 Ok how do you start an F1 car?

 I was sort of surprised that the castings on this engine were not that clean.  They didn’t look like super optimized modern designs, probably this is an engine from the early V8 formula a few years ago.

 Now that’s a low moment of inertia, this clutch is only about 4″ in diameter.

We were puzzled about the collector design.  A Burns merged collector seems like it has much better merges.  Perhaps that intentional with this design.  Either that or Ferrari should get their collectors from Burns!

 The header is well crafted though, fusion welded from inconel.

 Drift Alliance, who are those guys?  We found this DVD in the gift shop.

 Back at the track, we moved our stuff from the F1 garages to some closer to the area where the event was to be held.  We got to do a lap of the track, let me tell you that this place is amazing.  I have never seen such a smooth groomed immaculate track in my life.

Our new garages were a little smaller but still well appointed and super clean.  There were people assigned to us to clean stuff!
