I met some cool local guys, Mubarak Al Mansouri on the right knows me from the old NPM days, he is very much into Nissans and owns an SE-R of all things.  He also has an 11 second R35.  Hamad Al Mazouri on my right is an ex rally champion.

After the event we were invited to a lavish after party at some totally baller club. There were midgets and all sorts of stuff there and I got to smoke a hookah.  We were up all night..The next day we decided to go sight seeing in Dubai instead of sitting around sulking.  We grabbed a cab and took the two hour ride to Dubai to see things there.

This crazy looking hotel was one of the tallest buildings in the world.  The pool is a crazy water show fountain that makes the Bellagio in Vegas look like a kiddie pool.  Doesn’t it all look fake like CGI?  More on this building later.

Sarah wanted me to get her a shot glass which is pretty tough in a non drinking Muslim country but I finally managed to find one here.  Look at all of the tacky souvenirs.  If I was Arab, I would probably find some of this stuff offensive.
