Chevrolet’s COPO program continues with the all-new sixth generation version, of which only 69 will be sold. The COPO Camaro comes with either an LSX-based 350 c.i. supercharged V8 or a 427 c.i. naturally-aspirated LT1-based engine, as well as full race components like an NHRA certified cage, fuel cell, dedicated racing wire harness, lightweight seats, gauges, carbon panels, and more. This is the SEMA version created by NHRA driver Courtney Force.

Here’s a look under the COPO Camaro’s hood, which houses a Whipple-supercharged V8. Apparently this car will be auctioned off at the Barrett Jackson event with proceeds going to the United Way. If only I could be united with this thing so that I could have my way with it.

I mentioned earlier that the Chevrolet Performance booth has several crate engines on display for you to choose from for your V8 swap project. How about this supercharged LT4 6.2-liter from the new Corvette Z06 rated 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque!? It features the 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS blower spinning at 20,000 RPM, which brings the boost up to 9 PSI. The price tag is $15,625 for a wet sump unit and $625 more for one with a dry sump system. Hey, it’s a lot cheaper than the $26k LS9 engine they had from the ZR1 making 12 hp less from last year!

Underneath this new Camaro is Chevrolet Performance’s aftermarket performance exhaust system, which features smooth mandrel bends and clean welds.
