PRI 2015: Part 5

,

The Tilton 600 Series pedal assembly is a great upgrade for the budget-minded racer. It’s got forged aluminum pedals with adjustable foot pads and anti-slip surfaces, and also features an adjustable pedal ratio to allow the brake pedal to be tuned to the driver’s preference without changing master cylinder bore size. It’s rigid and lightweight, and can be had for under $500!

Bilstein shocks are commonplace in high performance European vehicles, but they also have applications for street rods and muscle cars. Here’s a peek at some of its offerings for the high performance and racing markets.

Check out its bump (bottom/blue) and rebound (top/red) adjustments for its coil-over systems. Very nice!
Speaking of expensive German engineering, when motorsport teams spare no expense with their tuning, many go with a Bosch Motorsport ECU. The MS 6.4 on the left can program 12 cylinders, and along with the normal bells and wwhistley with boosted and naturally aspirated tuning, it's also got sequential tranmission control. In the middle is Bosch’s DDU 7 Motorsport display, while on the right sits the PBX 90 Motorsport Powerbox, which is able to replace all conventional relays, fuses and circuit breakers to simplify wiring harnesseses, while also providing diagnostic capabilities

That's it for Part 5. We've got our finale piece coming to you in just a few days. Did we save the best for last? I know we at least saved the car with the “fastest street car” label for Part 6. But there's a lot more as well. Stay tuned!
