PRI 2016: Part 4

,

Here’s another Honda, well, Acura racer that I spotted in the Supertec booth. It's driven by Robert Mapps, who's been hitting 9s in a Honda Civic since the last decade. So, we're sure he's up to no good with this ride for 2017.

The RSX has a big turbo that boosts an engine full of Crower, Prayoonto, and Supertec parts. It's also loaded with with Vibrant piping and clamps.

Here’s a close-up of the Vibrant Performance quick disconnect charge piping.

K&N should call this the elephant intake. The 100-8522 intake is designed to fit NHRA pro stock per the 2016 rules, and it was designed using SolidWorks CAD and verified with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. It’s all made of three layers of ultra-lightweight carbon fiber with a billet aluminum throttle body adaptor.
