PRI 2016: Part 4

,

Last year we saw several intake and throttle body setups from Jenvey that were the epitome of eye candy, and this year the UK-based company did not disappoint. If you’re looking to upgrade your carbureted motor to fuel-injected, but want to keep the carbureted look and have the advantage of being multi-throttle body, Jenvey’s Heritage Throttle Body setup is for you. They’re designed to work on any car running DCOE carburetors with aftermarket ECU.

The fuel injectors sit inside, and are 237cc/min Bosch units for the time being, but Jenvey reports that larger capacity injectors will be available to fit starting this month.

Crower always has a strong presence at PRI with gobs of engine parts lying around for various makes and models for us to pick up and touch. This is one of its Toyota 4-cylinder crank that can be custom made to specs using any stroke and journal size. It’s made of 4340 steel and proudly made in the USA.

The newest addition to Injector Dynamics’ X Series injector lineup is the ID1050X and ID2200X. The latter is still under development, however. The ID1050X is rated at 1065 cc/min at 3 BAR and 1940 cc/min at 10 BAR, while the ID2200X is rated at 2150 cc/min and 3900 cc/min at those fuel pressures, respectively. ID has also just introduced its ID1700 for motorsport tuners, which has a broad operating range from 1725cc/min at 3 BAR to 2640cc/min at 7 BAR.

This is ID’s new-for-2017 ID F750, which meets Bosch specification for port and direct injectors. It has a built-in pressure drop indicator, integral bleed/diagnostic port, and optional 10-BAR pressure/temp sensor. There's a cutout of this product on the next page.

Hey, wanna see the craziest bike I've ever seen? That's also on the next page!
