How about some supercharging? Yes, please! The Vortech V-2 Ti has been around and is probably one of its more popular units sold with a max PSI capability of 26 PSI and 1000 horsepower with 75% peak efficiency.
New from Vortech, which just celebrated 25 years in the industry, is the V-30 Black Racing Series, which features Vortech’s NTT (Nano Tolerance Technology). This decreases the clearance from the impeller to the volute (compressor housing) for better performance and efficiency.
This improved efficiency of the V-30 decreases drive power and lowers fuel consumption as well. Vortech reports up to a 400hp increase with the V-30 line.
Vortech’s V-3 Si supercharger is also a popularly used blower for street and race use, maxing out to 775 hp and 22 PSI with a peak 78% efficiency! It’s also the unit used in Vortech’s new supercharger kit for the Mustang GT350.
If you need something big…no…huge to make thousands of horsepower, Vortech’s got it too. Keep in mind that lense on the camera there is 82mm! We’re talking around 3000 horsepower here.
