Now it was time to reassemble the back of the car.
When putting everything back, pay attention to the panel alignment. It is possible for stuff to go back crooked.
The stock splash guards are flush with the body.
The original splash guards are easily removed just by pulling them off; they are not even screwed on! As you can see the GM Performance parts shown on the bottom have a thin lip that protrudes a little past the body to protect it from debris. A nice subtle touch, especially when running wider tires.
Snap off, snap on–so easy!
