There were three small trim panels that also had the new carpet glued and trimmed to size.
The interior shop offered to replicate the original side scuff plate in hand-stitched leather since the carpet did not come with it. This would have caused excess drag on your right foot when working the throttle.
The original center tunnel carpet had this scuff panel. It’s a small, but important detail that I would recommend when to have done before installing the carpet.
The new, leather scuff panel looks and fits perfectly, and adds to the premium feel and execution of little details that subtly make all the difference.
After installing the center tunnel carpet, we were ready to put down the main carpet panel.
The main carpet is also a bit larger, requiring the excess material to be cut perfectly down to size. A razor blade makes quick work of the carpet.

Beautiful job! It’s little details like this that make a big difference in the end.
Thank you. That is true!
