Here’s the final product.A grommet is used in the hole to close it up a little bit. This is a hole in the roof, so it might get drippy while driving in the rain. Some RTV or other product will seal it up a little better if need be. You can see the SMA connector in the front. This screws onto a post on the RaceCapture.
The GPS signal wire is run along the roll bar halo and then down the passenger A-pillar and back over to the center where the RaceCapture is.
Tom is starting to lay out the cabin harness in the cabin. Then, we would take care of mounting the connections that go through the front firewall.But, you'll have to wait until next time to see more of the completion of the wiring work, as well as the beginnings of configuring all of these electronics to do their thing!
