Cleco pins temporarily hold the panel in place before we apply rivets to them.
Here’s the trunk-side of this bulkhead panel.
It’s a little annoying to have to get up into this top corner of the trunk area to make the connection, but we don’t expect to be connecting and disconnecting these plugs with any regularity.
The trunk has the same factory Toyota routing tabs, so we decided to use those here as well.
Here we’ve routed the trunk harness and secured it. We’ll clean up the zip ties and everything will look great and be secure.
We used plastic tie downs with double-sided tape to secure the harnesses elsewhere in the trunk.
Here the fuel pump power harness splits off (up and over the fuel cell) and the lights power continues along. To the top right of the picture is the rest of the harness coming from the trunk bulkhead.
That’s really all there was for the trunk. We left the fuel pumps disconnected as we wanted to do some power testing again later.
