Here is the exhaust manifold custom designed by Will at PZ Tuning for the Civic. Constructed with Vibrant Performance parts and welded in-house by Will. The engine is a K24A1 that has been built with Wiseco pistons, Skunk 2 Alpha Series rods, Skunk 2 HP Valves and Valve Springs, Skunk 2 retainers, and stock Civic Type R cams. Can I say it was an 'easy' 660 WHP! Check the dyno numbers in #teamcanada is coming!
Here's the exhaust manifold and Borg Warner EFR 9174 turbocharger. The head gasket is stock and the boost is limited to 18 psi. Mild head porting was completed by PZ Tuning. The oil system is stock, however, a HyTech baffled oil pan has been installed.
The Vibrant Performance intercooler is huge – 22″ x 4.5″ x 12″. It's good for up to 900 horsepower. At 660 WHP at the beginning of the tuning phase, the Civic is well along the path to 900 HP. Behind the intercooler and wheels, the axles are stock RSX units.
