Back to the engine bay. Notice the lines to the CSF radiator. The fuel pressure gauge. The battery.
The CSF radiator is obviously key to keeping the car cool. I asked Will about the lack of an oil cooler and he honestly responded that there simply hadn't been time to mount one.
Quality components. Nothing has been installed on this Civic for looks – it is all for functionality. This fuel regulator is a K-Tuned product, the fuel pump is a Walbro 450 and the Shelbourne Fuel is sent into the cylinders via Donkey Power Injection 2200cc injectors.
K-Tuned fuel rail, Donkey Power Injection injectors, Skunk 2 intake (inverted). Will drew upon all of his knowledge and experience gained racing the Acura RSX. There are a few RSX components in the Civic.
The instrument panel is simple and complex. From the Hondata traction control system to the myriad of toggle switches to the AEM wideband gauge and AEM boost gauge. Everything required to ensure that a fast car stays fast!
You can see the start of the ATL fuel cell aluminum bulkhead that Will built. Mandatory safety requirement for almost every Time Attack series to ensure the driver's protection.
The car shines! Photo Credit: Kyle Lewis.
