We use a front hub from a Lexus IS300 and it bolts to the upright. The upright can accept stock type tab mount brakes or Stoptech radial mount adaptors.
You can see Chris Eimer’s clean tig welds here. Also, all suspension pickups and the tie rod ends are held in double shear for maximum strength. The car is lowered through the axle position, ala drop knuckles which makes it easy to maintain the proper front roll center and minimize bump steer.
More detail on the tie rod mount with the Ackerman adjusting pills, all in double shear. With the large cross-sectional area and conservative windowing, the part is much stronger than the stock solid forged steel part.
