The Scion FR-S is creation born from a joint partnership between Toyota and Subaru. The Scion FR-S (“front-engine, rear-wheel drive sport) uses the same platform as the Toyota FT-86 II concept. Under the hood, a naturally aspirated 2.0L Boxer flat-four engine with Toyota D4-S direct and port injection system mated to either a six-speed manual or auto tranny. Jack Hollis, Scion's VP, has designated the FR-S as “friggin' really sweet.” |
