The Car Lovers Guide to Japan! Part Two, Non Car Stuff to Do in Tokyo and The Nissan Crossing Part 2

Tokyo by day is not a spectacular as the nighttime view but you can still see the very modern architecture.

There is a section of the observatory that has a glass floor.  If you have fear of heights I suppose this can be scary. I thought it was pretty cool!

Another cool place to see is the Imperial Palace in the Chiyoda District which is home to the emperor of Japan and his family.

A large moat surrounds the castle to provide security. The water doesn’t look too deep so I don’t think it would be too hard to cross. Maybe in the Edo period, it was deeper!

  1. There was a Leaf Nismo RC back in 2011, Nissan built 11 of them and brought them to promo events.

Not a fast car but at 940kg probably one of the lightest electrics outside formula E.

  2. Kabuki theatre was pretty cool. You can eat and drink in there and traditionally people heckle the actors. Nobody has the balls to nowadays though so they have speakers that they play heckling through.
