The Car Lovers Guide to Japan! Part Two, Non Car Stuff to Do in Tokyo and The Nissan Crossing Part 2

One of my favorite areas to go to during the day is Odaiba.  Odaiba is a district built on artificial land in Tokyo bay and features many attractions with new, high tech architecture.  Odaiba is a place where you can easily spend the entire day.  Here Christa stands in front of the famous Tokyo giant Ferris wheel in Odaiba. Odaiba is also home to Tokyo’s largest convention center and event stadium.

Divers City a large nice shopping mall in Odaiba.  It has a full-size replica of a Gundam in front.  It looks very real.

The Gundam does stuff and moves around I think every hour but I didn’t get to see that.  If you are a Robotech geek like me, it is very enjoyable to check it up all close.

  1. There was a Leaf Nismo RC back in 2011, Nissan built 11 of them and brought them to promo events.

Not a fast car but at 940kg probably one of the lightest electrics outside formula E.

  2. Kabuki theatre was pretty cool. You can eat and drink in there and traditionally people heckle the actors. Nobody has the balls to nowadays though so they have speakers that they play heckling through.
