The driver pretty much sits on the floor of the cars as you can see by the pad on the transmission tunnel for the driver’s right leg. A lightweight Braille battery is mounted on the right side of the tunnel.
An Xtrac sequential shifter does the gear shifting. The small reverser lever attached to the shifter is from Shimano; cycling and motorsports collide.
